…Mona Lisa…
Here is my story. When I was first placed in my painter’s studio, I was a clean block of wood. I didn’t know what he was doing with that brush over me. All I thought was he was messing up with me. He ruined my look. He made me dirty with those liquids swept all over me. Then for a while, he left me. Alone. I thought, “What is going on here?” I was frustrated, bored. But then he came back. Doing the same thing all over again.
But that was long time ago. Now, here I am. If only I knew who he was. What I can say today is how thankful I am. That I was lucky. I should not have been here. I was a block of wood. And I am still a block of wood. It was all because of the painter who painted me. He is a maestro.
Each year, about six million people view the painting at the Louvre. [wikipedia]
How do you see your Painter today? Do you think He is messing up with your life? The truth is He is doing His big project in you. He is painting your life. You may think this circumstance is pressing you so hard. Be patient and trust Him. For God’s love for you is so great. Just open your heart. Receive His love. Don’t think about how you would pay Him back later if you receive His love today. He does not demand you to pay Him back. Because nobody can.
Be patient. Trust Him. Let Him paint you. Maybe one day you will tell a similar story like the one that Mona Lisa has told you.
